French naval defence and shipbuilding group DCNS announced that they signed a contract with MBDA Italia for the supply of SYLVER vertical launch system cells. The contract signed during Eurosatory defense exhibition in June is for the delivery of VLS to be fitted aboard five of the future multi role patrol vessels of the Italian
Navy (Pattugliatori Polivalenti d’Altura or PPA).
