Today Oct. 18 at Euronaval 2016 naval exhibition, Leonardo presented its new ATAS sensor (Active Towed Array Sonar), the smallest and most powerful active and passive underwater sonar on the market. ATAS is the smallest and most powerful underwater sonar to offer high-performance detection at up to 40km, Leonardo said.
