The terrorists shot a woman in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district and escaped
Suspected terrorists on Friday shot dead a woman in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Two men entered Beeba’s home around 8 pm and shot her twice, police said. The woman’s four daughters and a son were at home at the time of the incident. After the incident her terrorists fled the spot on a motorcycle. When the women was shifted to the hospital, she was declared brought dead.Police have launched the probe into the incident.
Earlier in the day, during ceasefire violation by Pakistan Rangers, at least 17 of their soldiers were killed by BSF jawans in retaliation. At least two civilian is reported to have been
killed during Pakistan’s firing in the Khor belt of Jammy district. Earlier Pakistan had violated ceasefire at 11: 30 in the morning in the Balakot sector of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Pakistani rangers are reported to have been using small arms, mortars, automatics, 82 mm Mortars and 120 mm Mortars. A family in Kashmir found themselves to be extremely lucky when a mortar hit their house in Hiranagar sector but did not go off. One Indian Army Major is also reported having been injured in the heavy shelling from both sides.
Meanwhile ADG, BSF, Arun Kumar also said that the Indian Army would never open fire on a civilian population, but if Pakistan initiates firing, the soldiers from this side would retaliate.
