The Trump campaign transformed a Monday night rally into an all-day tailgate after roughly 100,000 people who RSVP'd for a limited number of tickets to see the president speak in Houston, Texas, in support of his one-time enemy Ted Cruz.
Supporters of the president began lining up outside of Houston's Toyota Center a full 24 hours before the rally's start time, camping out overnight to reserve their seats, ahead of the tailgate that Trump's reelection committee announced mid-day Sunday.
The area was serviced by food trucks and live music began at 9 am CDT outside the event the president is holding to campaign for Cruz - a man he once called Lyin' Ted but who is looking for the president to help him against Democratic opponent Beto O'Rourke,
