The Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu welcomes the demonstrated reliability and efficiency of the modern Russian armaments during the operation in Syria. Among many other assets, Russia deployed a Pantsir-S1 air defense system, around a dozen tanks (allegedly the T-90A), and naval infantry.
