The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India has test-fired the new home-made cruise missile Nirbhay from a defence base off Odisha coast on Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Nirbhay is an all-weather, long-range cruise missile capable of carrying conventional and nuclear warheads with a range from 750 to 1,000 km.
