The United States State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 48 CH-47F Chinook Cargo Helicopters and related equipment, training, and support. for an estimated cost of $3.51 billion, the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announced on December 7, 2016.
