Russian airborne troops will receive over 300 combat vehicles BMD-4M and BTR-MDM.

The Russian Airborne Forces will receive over 300 combat vehicles BMD-4M and BTR-MDM by 2020, Commander Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov said. Artillery units and detachments will get over a hundred modern radar reconnaissance means, guns, mortars and antitank weapons while air defense units will get nearly 200 pieces of hardware and armaments.
