Business Insider: Trump lectures NATO allies to their faces as they look on in awkward silence

President Donald Trump on Thursday lectured a group of leaders from member countries of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization over not contributing their "fair share" in defense spending.

Standing beside Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Trump blasted the nearly two-dozen member countries that have not met their "financial obligations" to increase defense spending to 2% of GDP.

WNU Editor: It is quite a sight to see all of these NATO leaders .... just standing there with smirks on their faces while being called out by President Trump for their unwillingness and lack of interest to meet what NATO expects on defense spending. I have said it before .... if Russia is the threat that these NATO leaders are always voicing about .... why are they not spending the money to deter it. And as expected .... instead of focusing on the money (or lack of) .... the media is focusing on this ....
