China's first peacekeeping helicopter detachment now fully operational

The United Nations charter plane carrying 99 members of China's first peacekeeping helicopter detachment took off from Beijing Capital International Airport for Darfur's Fashir, Sudan, at around 2:00 a.m. on August 19. So far, all 140 members of China's first peacekeeping helicopter detachment have been dispatched to their mission area in Sudan. Read more
