India`s Defense Research and Development Organization has developed the first indigenous unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), according to the Economic Times newspaper. The UGV is based on the Soviet BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and dubbed Muntra. Two such vehicles were showcased at the Science for Soldiers exhibition. Read more
