US oks $3.8bn deal to Bahrain for F-16Vs and Block 40 upgrade

The US State Department on Sept. 8 approved two separate Foreign Military Sales to the Government of Bahrain for 19 F-16V fighter jets and for upgrade of 20 F-16 Block 40 aircraft to F-16V configuration. The estimated cost for the two sales is $3.8bn, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announced on its website. Read more
