On 15 December 2017 Rheinmetall transfers the first of two heavily protected Survivor R transport vehicles to the Saxony State Police. The second system will be delivered before Christmas. The Free State of Saxony ordered the two vehicles from Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) in February of this year.
