Is President Trump Stepping Away From Launching A Military Strike Against Syria?

WNU Editor: There have been a lot of reports that last week's chemical attack was a "false flag". The Russian military now control the area, and have publicly made a commitment to invite UN inspectors to investigate the attack (which they are claiming did not happen). Adding to all of this, U.S. Defense Secretary Mattis raised some eyebrows yesterday when he did not blame Syrian President Assad for launching a chemical attack .... U.S. Still Assessing Intelligence on Syria Chemical Attack: Mattis (US News and World Report/Reuters). I  never like seeing a leader of a nation make a commitment to do one thing, and then do another. But on this one .... I will applaud President Trump if he makes the decision to not initiate actions over Syria until all the evidence is in, and that U.S. national security concerns and interests are the priority and not because a bunch of U.S. politicians/media/pundits/etc. tell him to do so. Either way .... we are going to find out in the next few days on what is going to happen.

Update: Trump says Syria attack 'could be very soon or not so soon' (Reuters)
