SHOCKING CONFESSION: Promised Jobs In Kashmir, Two Youths From Up Forced To Pelt Stones In The Valley

The two youths hail from Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat and Saharanpur. One of them said that they were promised tailoring jobs in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama for a monthly earning of Rs 20,000 each. However, their employer forced them into taking training for pelting stones.

Srinagar/Lucknow: In a shocking confession that nails Pakistan proxies’ bid to spread terror and destabilise the Kashmir Valley, two youths from Uttar Pradesh have claimed that they were lured to Jammu and Kashmir on the pretext of jobs and then forced to pelt stones at security forces. In the confession video available with Times Now, one of the youths said on tape that they had to run away from the Valley to save their lives.

The two hail from Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat and Saharanpur. One of them said that they were promised tailoring jobs in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama for a monthly earning of Rs 20,000 each. However, their employer forced them into taking training for pelting stones.

“I worked as a tailor for two to three months. But the job was troubling. When I wanted to return, I was not allowed to and was threatened with false cases like of theft,” the youth says on camera.

An inquiry has been ordered by the Uttar Pradesh police into the matter. SP Baghpat and SSP Saharanpur have been asked to complete the probe and submit a report. The J&K police may be roped in for investigations at a later stage, sources told Times Now.

The Kashmir Valley has seen a massive rise in stone-pelting over the last few years, with visible deterioration in the security situation. The Kashmiri youth is being radicalised by terror groups as well as separatists, alleges sources.

Intelligence reports and subsequent investigations have clearly established that money is being pumped into Jammu and Kashmir from Pakistan via separatists and its other proxies, which is then being used to pay money to those indulging in stone pelting against security forces.

The worsening security situation and growing terrorism and radicalisation this week forced the Bharatiya Janata Party to call off its alliance with the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party, leading to the fall of the Mehbooba Mufti government. The state has now been brought under Governor’s rule.
