The second OPV project was to build a second naval offshore patrol ship (HTMS Trang). Between 2015 and 2018 it is predicted that. The ship may be delivered to the Navy in mid-2019.
One of the common misconceptions is that Bangkok Bumrungrad Co., Ltd. is a shipbuilder of this company. But, in fact, Bangkok Bumrungrad is offering and supplying materials for shipbuilding. The shipbuilder is Mahidol Adulyadej Naval Dockyard with design and technology transfer support from BAE Systems.
