On July 30, 30-7, the Air Force (SQKQ) held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish and award the Military Cycle Decision to the 915th Regiment.
Regiment 915 was established on the basis of precursor helicopter training center, under the 910th Regiment, Air Force Academy . From the very beginning, with the pilots, aviation technicians were strengthened from the 916th Regiment and 917th Regiment to transform, train cadre, flight commander, flight instructor, personnel aviation technician. Up to now, 100% of pilots and aviation technical staffs have been trained and transferred to take on positions and tasks.
On April 27, 2018, the Minister of Defense signed Decision No. 1492 / QD-BQP, establishing a helicopter training regiment (bearing the 915 regiment's name). The regiment is responsible for: Training, training pilots, students at the university level; Practical guidance, practice for students, professional technical aviation; providing parachute training for pilots and paratroopers - search and rescue; transportation, transportation, participation in search and rescue, emergency, prevention of storms, floods, natural disasters; ready to fly specialized
