Daily Mail: Pentagon cyber warriors shut down Kremlin 'troll factory run by Vladimir Putin's cook' by forcing it offline on day of the 2018 midterm elections

* U.S. Cyber Command 'shut down' the Internet Research Agency - IRA - in St. Petersburg on November 6, 2018, day of midterm elections
* IRA is alleged to be a Kremlin-backed outfit whose employees posed as Americans and spread disinformation online in run up to 2016 elections
* Boss Evgeny Prigozhin is indicted by Mueller and is a billionaire who also runs a catering business whose clients include the Kremlin

The U.S. military disrupted the internet access of a Russian troll farm accused of trying to influence American voters on Nov. 6, 2018, the day of the congressional elections, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

The U.S. Cyber Command strike targeted the Internet Research Agency in the Russian port city of St. Petersburg, the Post reported, citing unidentified U.S. officials.
