More US power in Europe requested by US EUCOM

Army Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti, the commander of U.S. European Command, told the Senate Armed Services Committee at a hearing on 5 March that it isn’t just maritime forces that need bolstering in Europe to counter threats there or to enhance deterrence. Ground forces and ISR also need to be strengthened.
