Ship#20 Pohang class corvette (photo : VietDefense)
Closeup photo of the Flight III Pohang class corvette Ship #20 in service with the Vietnam People's Navy.
Formerly the PCC-765 Yeosu, the ship has been overhauled and now sports the signature red-colored deck paintjob traditionally associated with communist/east bloc navies along with light grey hull paintjob present on all nearly all Vietnamese navy ships.
The corvette is shown here docked next to two Vietnamese-built TT400TP class gunboats.
Ship #20 also differs from the earlier Ship #18 (former PCC-761 Gimcheon) in the fact that #20 has retained nearly all original weaponry as was equipped while the ship was still serving as ROKS Yeosu.
