In the anti-tank armament of the Vietnamese military, in addition to the widely used firearms such as RPG-7 (B-41), there is another type of anti-tank anti-tank gun, that is SCT. -29, a "made in Vietnam" version of the Soviet RPG-29.

The Soviet -made RPG-29 anti-tank gun has been in service since 1989. Vietnam has produced this anti-tank gun on its own for the past 5 years.

The Vietnamese version of RPG-29 is called SCT-29. In addition to producing guns, we can also produce bullets and identify themselves as DCT-7.

The production of this anti-tank gun allowed our army to be autonomous in terms of equipment, ready to produce large-scale, large quantities immediately upon request.

In the world, RPG-29 is also a popular anti-tank gun, it has proven its strength in many conflicts, capable of defeating many modern tanks today.

sans-serif;">The gun has an empty weight of 12.1 kg, the weight with bullets is 18.9 kg and has a length of 1 meter when moving, 1.85 meters when ready to fight.

Two types of RPG-29 ammo include the PG-29V recoillant and the TBG-29V fuse. The size of ammunition used was 105mm, each of which weighed more than 5 kg, so it was cumbersome and heavy on the move.

RPG-29 has two launch mechanisms. The first mechanism is located on the shoulder, spleen shooting as conventional anti-tank guns. The second method is to shoot with the tripod system with the maximum effective range of up to 500 meters.

Targeted with explosive reactive armor, the RPG-29's re-explosive warhead is capable of penetrating 750mm of homogeneous rolled steel after puncturing the explosive reactor. With reinforced concrete target types, the maximum penetration of RPG-29 is up to 1500 mm.

RPG-29 proves its strength on the Syrian battlefield when shooting down a T-72 tank with just one shot. The RPG-29's shot penetrated the T-72's hull, destroying its ammunition and causing the tank to explode from the inside.
