U.S. Vice President Harris Breaks Silence On Afghanistan Debacle But Does Not Answer The Question On Whether The Biden Administration Made Any Mistakes In Afghanistan

* Harris arrived in Singapore on Sunday for week-long trip to Asia to meet officials 

* Her team pushed forward with the trip, despite criticisms of her administration's handling of Afghanistan, as the VP distances herself from the mess 

* Harris, addressing Afghanistan publicly for the first time since the fall of Kabul, said 'there is going to be plenty of time to analyze' for mistakes 

* She cut off a reporter with nervous laugh before boarding her flight on Friday 

* Harris initially claimed to have had a key role and that she was 'the last person in the room,' but has been remarkably absent from public dialogue on Afghanistan 

Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday during a visit to Singapore dodged question on whether her administration

had made mistakes in its Afghanistan withdrawal, insisting they were focused on evacuation efforts and noting there would be plenty of time later on to analyze mistakes the US government made. 

And as she boarded the plane to Singapore, Harris cut off a reporter seemingly trying to ask her about Afghanistan with her signature laugh, adding 'slow down, everybody.' Harris said Afghanistan 'couldn't have a higher priority,' as she jetted off on the southeast Asia tour.
