First Malaysian Littoral Combat Ship set for August 2026 delivery

 According to information published by Khaled Nordin on June 4, 2024, the first Malaysian Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), constructed at the Lumut Naval Shipyard (LUNAS), was successfully launched on May 23, 2024. Following the successful launch, construction will proceed with the installation of equipment and the integration of systems. These steps are essential before the ship undergoes the Harbour Acceptance Test (HAT) and Sea Acceptance Trial (SAT) later this year.
