On February 12, 2025, the British Royal Air Force (RAF) announced that it has commenced flight testing of the Protector RG1 Remotely Piloted Air System (RPAS) from its home base at RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire. This marks a significant milestone in the aircraft's development, as it undergoes rigorous evaluation ahead of its full integration into RAF service.
