According to recent information published by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), a significant advancement has been made for both the F-35 Lightning II program and U.S. naval warfare capabilities. The DoD confirmed the successful flight test of the F-35B short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) variant, now equipped with the AGM-158C Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM).
