According to information published by the Lumibird Group on June 24, 2025, its Swedish subsidiary, Lumibird Photonics Sweden AB, has secured a new contract from Saab to deliver 57 VIDAR laser rangefinders to the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO). These high-performance systems will be integrated into the CEROS fire control systems aboard Royal Danish Navy frigates, strengthening the fleet’s precision targeting and engagement capabilities.
