Brazil supplies first A-29 Super Tucano light attack aircraft to Paraguay for anti-trafficking missions

On June 30, 2025, the Paraguayan Air Force (FAP) received four A-29 Super Tucano light attack and training aircraft from Embraer during a ceremony held at Silvio Pettirossi Air Force Base, near Asunción. This event marks the first batch of a six-aircraft order signed on November 19, 2024, with a total contract value of approximately $96.6 million, financed entirely through a loan from Brazil’s National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES). Read full defense news at this link...
