White Sands Missile Range, N.M., United States, October 8, 2025, 08:40 AM (CEST) - The U.S. Army confirmed on October 2, 2025, that its Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) successfully enabled soldiers at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, to intercept two cruise missiles in a contested electromagnetic environment. The test, executed by the 3rd Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery Regiment, achieved first-shot kills and proved IBCS’s ability to link sensors and shooters across the battlefield.
