 U.S. Marines have rehearsed the recovery of a downed pilot under simulated enemy attack during Integrated Training Exercise 3-26 at Twentynine Palms, California, highlighting a mission that can determine whether isolated aircrew, sensitive technology, and operational momentum are preserved or lost in combat.
