The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) 2026 confirmed that Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) have become one of the most important developments shaping the future of military aviation. Across the exhibition, defense manufacturers, armed forces and technology companies presented autonomous aircraft, artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled mission systems and advanced human-machine teaming concepts that are rapidly transitioning from technology demonstrators to operational capabilities.
