U.S. Army efforts to accelerate counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) development are entering a new phase as battlefield lessons from Ukraine continue to expose the growing threat posed by armed drones. Through the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center, the service is expanding collaboration with the defense industry to rapidly identify, evaluate, and refine technologies capable of defeating increasingly sophisticated unmanned aerial threats.
