Sweden Receives First Archer 8x8 Mobile Howitzers as a New Artillery Layer Emerges on NATO’s Baltic Flank

 Sweden has received its first four Archer 8x8 self-propelled howitzers, with FMV announcing the handover on August 26, 2026, as part of a 48-system program to strengthen and expand the country’s artillery capability.
