ARX Robotics, Babcock, and Frankenburg Technologies combined the GEREON UGV, Vigil launcher, and Mark 1 missile into a mobile counter-drone system at DVD 2026 in Millbrook, UK. The configuration is intended to move short-range air-defense effectors with UK ground forces and protect command posts, armored units and logistics nodes against drones and loitering munitions. The GEREON-based configuration combines robotic mobility, Babcock’s modular Vigil launcher and Frankenburg’s Mark 1 interceptor in a distributed short-range air-defense role.
