U.S. Army Commits $862.8M to M1156 Kits That Transform 155mm Shells Into Precision Weapons

The U.S. Army has awarded Northrop Grumman a contract worth up to $862.8 million to expand production of M1156 Precision Guidance Kits, according to a September 3, 2026, U.S. Department of War announcement.
