Canadian CC-177 Globemaster III Unlocks New Strategic Mobility for U.S. HIMARS Across North America’s Arctic

 A Royal Canadian Air Force CC-177 Globemaster III airlifted a U.S. Army M142 HIMARS launcher and troops into Alaska during Operation TUNDRA MERLIN, U.S. Northern Command disclosed on August 12, 2026.
