Japan’s E-2D Links Australia and the Philippines in an Emerging Indo-Pacific Air Defense Network

 Japan has linked its E-2D Advanced Hawkeye with Philippine FA-50 fighters in joint flight operations around the Philippines, the JASDF announced on August 12, 2026, as the aircraft returned from training in Australia.
